Maria T. Currier is a partner in the Business Law Section of Holland & Knight’s Miami office and a co-leader of the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Team. She has more than 30 years of experience serving clients in the healthcare industry and is Board Certified in Health Law as recognized by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Her healthcare practice focuses on health reform matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial transactions, healthcare regulatory matters, fraud and abuse, managed care and international business ventures for healthcare clients.

Ms. Currier has counseled clients on: clinical integration; federal healthcare reform; new delivery models, including ACOs; Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and regulatory issues; patient safety and quality initiatives; HIPAA; federal and state fraud and abuse matters; Stark-related matters; corporate compliance plans; false claims act compliance; and physician incentive arrangements.
