The number of physicians who are either employed by or associated with health care clients represented by the firm now exceeds 1,000. With a comprehensive understanding of the business of health care and the legal challenges posed by the overlay of complex laws, rules and regulations, the firm provides a broad range of services to its healthcare clients which includes corporate structures and planning, contract review and negotiation, employment issues, and compliance matters.
The firm also represents health care providers, practitioners, and suppliers in various reimbursement matters, including Medicare audits, appeals, and litigation as well as private insurance payment disputes. Active in the American Health Lawyers Association and the Tennessee Bar Association’s Health Law Section, the firm’s attorneys regularly advise health care clients in regulatory matters, such as quality of care, fraud and abuse, and HIPAA privacy issues.
